About

Nice to meet you! I’m Emily, and my honeybee-themed kitchen in Atlanta is where I create flavorful dishes inspired by my love for all things sweet (and savory!). One of the greatest joys in my life is cooking for people who are close to me– friends and family, but also neighbors, coworkers and others in my community.

Why the honey/bee theme to my blog? Ever since he was little, my husband always wanted a yellow kitchen. So in our very first apartment, I purchased a little bee hand towel set and built from there– down to the yellow patterned wallpaper that we now have in our kitchen.

There are other ways honey has shown up in our lives and our home. In fact, in grad school at Savannah College of Art and Design, our mascot was the Bees! My husband’s name is Hunter and his jersey number was always “33,” so I nicknamed him the “Hunny b33.” It just sort of stuck.

Whether I’m whipping up a quick breakfast or a five-course dinner party, I believe in the joy of sharing meals with my neighbors and loved ones. From gluten-free dinners to delicious baked goods, join me as I make the world a more delicious place.
